“Agrometeorology Information and Annona Tree Natural Disaster Prevention Measures Lecture” Held on June 22, 2022

2022-09-14

In order to help farmers access weather and disaster prevention information, the TTDARES held the Agrometeorology Information and Annona Tree Natural Disaster Prevention Measures Lecture at the Taitung County Quanyi Agricultural Sales and Logistics Cooperative on June 22, 2022. The lecture introduced how to use the weather information apps “Life Weather” and “Weather and Agricultural Natural Disaster Prevention” and a calendar for Annona (sugar apple and atemoya) trees in responding to natural disasters to prevent/reduce loss. The farmers were also reminded that since the climate has been changing significantly in recent years, they should pay attention to changes in harvest seasons and control the reasonable number of fruits retained on their trees to be able to respond optimally to natural disasters.
