To promote organic and ecofriendly farming in line with the Organic Farming Development Plan in the Hualien-Taitung Region, the TTDARES held the Lecture on Multi-Application Techniques for Organic Fruit (which was the final event in the Organic Orchard Management Techniques Series) on the morning of August 17, 2022, at the Binlang Orchard of the Banchiu Branch Station. In-depth yet easily understood talks were given on sixth-sector industrialization management techniques for organic orchards and on a diversity of applications for organic fruit. Then, analyses were given on the performances of growers who received guidance in integrating the primary and secondary industries while expanding into the tertiary industry by incorporating agrotourism and food/agriculture education into their operations. Complete explanations on concepts and methods of related organic orchard management were given. Through the lecture, the TTDARES looked to share thorough explanations on related concepts and techniques with growers to substantially increase their capacity in the organic fruit industry. It is our hope that everyone will work together in making a new look for the organic fruit industry.
