Hurry and Sign up for the 2016 Lohas Herb Festival!

In an effort to promote the use of herbs in the tourism and recreation industries, the Taitung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station (TTDARES) has set April 23 (Sat.) as the date for the 2016 Lohas Herb Festival, which will be held at the TTDARES grounds in Fengli. Registration for the event is already open! The event will include demonstrations on growing 46 different kinds of herbs, a Taiwan quinoa footpath, a drawing activity, a DIY class on making herbal essence oil massage balls, a DIY class for making eco-friendly cleaning agents from lemongrass, an on-site explanation on how to grow herbs in the field, and gifts of potted herbs. When you come, enjoy the dazzling field of garden cosmos where the aroma of herbs fills the atmosphere to relieve you of your stress and other negative emotions. Such a fun-filled event is sure to please the whole family!

Based on similar events of the past, numerous people are expected to attend. So, to encourage people to sign up and check in early, the first 600 people who register will receive a free voucher for the essence oil massage ball class and the eco-friendly cleaning agent class.

Children who participate in the drawing activity will receive a commemorative gift upon finishing their drawing and handing it in to the Drawing Activity Check-in Counter where it will be stamped and returned to take home.
