2024-06-21
To boost the production skills of Indigenous people and promote the development of their special crops, the Taitung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station (TTDARES) of the Ministry of Agriculture held the Reinvigorating Indigenous Village Spirit Mobile Classroom on June 21, 2024, on Orchid Island. The class focused on grain cultivation techniques, an introduction to and demonstration of labor-saving machinery for millet production, and the promotion of organic certification and the eco-friendly farming system. By helping locals learn to boost cultivation skills and encouraging them to obtain the certification and employ eco-friendly methods, they can ensure sustainability for their special crops.
