With this crop cleaning device, atemoyas are held in place by four-pronged claws that move forward and turn while highly pressurized air blows onto the fruit to blow away mealybugs on the surface. The entire structure is covered by a transparent acrylic screen to keep the bodies of the bugs from being blown about, and at the bottom is a dust collection container with nets into which the bugs fall to keep them from blowing back onto clean fruit. |
