The director of Taitung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, Mr. HSIN-YEN CHEN, held the non-exclusive license signing ceremony of rice new cultivar “Taitung 35” with UNION RICE CO., LTD. on June 8th, 2022. This signing ceremony was held in Sheraton Taitung Hotel and witnessed by Mrs. Ching-Ling Yao, the major of Taitung County. By which the license can effectively manage the purity and quality of products derived from the variety. Therefore, the license can mass-produce and commercialize the product from a variety within a year.
