Research on Agricultural Machinery and Technology Transfer

2014-05-30
The Agricultural Machinery Lab works in accordance with our core technology principles of "maintaining original traits", "procuring early ripening and a full harvest" and "being both organic and in line with LOHAS principles" while taking into account both the transformation of the local agricultural industry as well as the demands of the growing environment. In this way, we can forecast future trends of development and devote ourselves to agricultural machinery R&D, improvements based on experimental research and the demonstration/promotion of such improvements:
  1. Experimental research on rice, fruit trees and machinery used in the mechanization of crop management for the indigenous population. We aim to mechanize operational systems so as to promote mechanization overall for fruit production, create operational automation, increase efficiency, lessen the demand for labor and lower costs.
  2. Development of machinery to process post-harvested goods.
  3. Improvements made based on experimental research regarding the use of solar power to catch pests and keep birds away.
  4. Introduction, demonstration and promotion of new machinery (domestic and foreign) suited to Taitung.
